Organic Oregano «Aroma Othris» is cultivated on the slopes of Mount Othris of Magnesia, Greece, at an altitude of over 1000 meters in ideal «mountain» atmosphere. Oregano is ideal for cooking, aromatizing in a special way the meat, fish, or vegetables.
Known for its healing properties since ancient times, was used by the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates to treat respiratory problems and stomach aches. Both the leaves and the flowers of the plant has been shown to have antiseptic, antispasmodic, tonic and stimulating properties and treat symptoms of flatulence (blowing) and dyspepsia.
